Printed up yesterday afternoon, only taking 3.5 hours as the careful breakdown of components means that there is a very low "X" Axis to the print.
As you can see, I had a little helper! |
Assembly was done with superglue leaving the turret free to rotate.
Then a quick prime with Wilko Matt Black spray.
Overall coat of Vallejo Russian Uniform for a good match to UK Infra-Red Reflective Olive Green.
Once dry the black over camouflage patches (British Army guidance is 66% Olive Green -33% Nato Black).
Detail was enhanced using Army Painter "Military Shade" (dark Greenish wash).
Then the tracks painted light grey folowed by black wash when dry.
An overall dry-brush of Iraqi Sand.
Finally details picked out like the spade on the turret, headlights and periscopes, indicators and brake lights, exhaust pipe & silencer etc. before a spray coat of matt varnish.
Very nice! Thank-You Yuri!
