Myself and one other Tank Club member made the pilgrimage to Burgess Hall for the MAFVA National Show on 15th June 2025. We, together with a club from Glasgow, had probably travelled the furthest (in our case it took 4.5 hours to get there and we stayed overnight, to break up the journey).
The venue is roomy and well served with parking and catering, but the lighting could have been better in the main hall. There was a good mixture of traders and club displays.
The footfall seemed slow to me but I'm assured that it matched 2024 as did the number of traders, even though I thought there were less in attendance.
The competitions were well supported (in some classes more than others....) and I managed to win two Golds & a Bronze, so it was a worthwhile trip.
