Self-Isolation & Social-Distancing - an Opportunity?

I guess, like most if not all of you, we are following our Government's guidelines and trying to stay at home as much as is practical to remain safe, and minimise the risk of spreading Covid19.

Whilst I'm lucky as I can work from home, it also presents me with the excuse to spend more time in the Loser Shed, assembling & painting models and playing solo games!

The Work Bench in the Loser Shed
This has led me to consider what projects to tackle next. I can't visit Firestorm Games or any Wargames Conventions to be tempted by anything new, so maybe the time has come to delve into the "Shelf of Shame"...........

The "Shelf of Shame"

Looking at what is on there, amongst other things, there are;-
  • 28mm Ancient Roman & Briton armies
  • 28mm ECW Starter Army
  • 28mm Perry ACW Starter box
  • 28mm Dixon ACW armies
  • 15mm PSC Sherman, Churchill, Commet, M5 Half-Track & German Infantry boxes
  • 28mm Rubicon Sherman Firefly
  • 28mm Tamiya 1/48th Sherman
  • 28mm Cowboys 100+
  • 1/1200th Airfix Battle of the Atlantic Boxed set
  • 10+ Zvezda 15mm AFV models
  • 28mm Perry Medievals (3 boxes)
  • 28mm Victrix Highlanders
  • 28mm Medieval Chapel Kit
  • and so it goes on....
I'd always joked to my wife that this was my retirement stash once our money had run-out! Looks like it's time to make a start....what to do first we'll have to wait and see.

Stay safe.

    1. Thank you L'Empereur!

We are now in lockdown and are looking to the challenges ahead.

I, like you, am preparing for the future.....all those figures I'd always hoped to paint, but never found the time.

      Take care and stay safe.
