Team Yankee - West German 3D Printed Force

I know....it's happened again.... Like any wargame's butterfly my attention has been diverted from the chosen path.

Fuchs 6 Wheeled APC
My plan was to complete my long awaited ACW 10mm project while on Lock-down...but then I took delivery of my new 3D printer!

Jaguar 2 (TOW) sliced & diced in 3D Builder before printing out with a "Brim" to aid bed adhesion
Whilst I'm still making headway with the 10mm stuff (Down to just the infantry and a small number of Rebel Cavalry to complete now) my attention has been firmly grabbed by the printing bug.

Luchs 8 Wheeled Armoured Car
As part of my printing frenzy I've decided to create a West German army for TY or (more likely) Seven Days from the River Rhine.

Leopard II - sliced & diced in 3D Builder before printing
This was decided for me as I found .stl files on Thingiverse for just about everything I'd possibly need.

Marder 1 (With wire barrel rather than printed one)
  • Leopard 2 (Early & more recent versions)
  • Leopard 1 (A1-A4)
  • Gepard AA
  • Marder (1 & 1A3)
Fuchs assembled (bit of filler on the joint and job done!)

  • Fuchs Wheeled APC
  • Luchs 8 Wheeled Armoured Car
  • Jagdpanzer Kanone
  • Jaguar 1 & 2
  • VW Iltis Jeep!
Jaguar 2 (TOW)

There's even artillery in the form of Lars2, but I see no place for this type of model on the tabletop.

Leopard II
All I need to buy is the Panzergrenadier Zug from Battlefront and about 60 hours of printing time and I'm away!

Marder 1 with wire for gun barrel
What fun!

  1. Hi there!
What do you think of to publish your sliced models? I dont think Bergman would mind if you do:)
    Kind regards
